The traditional school year will begin in late August for most students. Stores are already highlighting sales on back-to-school items. Backpacks and supplies will be collected at CanyonView beginning July 16th. Collection bins will be in the foyer and a list of suggested supplies will be available, If anyone would rather make a cash/check donation to buy backpacks/supplies, we will gladly do the shopping.
We have two goals. Backpacks with school supplies will again be distributed to students at Kit Carson Elementary School in Linda Vista and also to families with children in teh foster care system.
