About Dennis Fiss
My wife Ellen and I have been married for over 31 years now and have two adult sons – Carl and Eric. For those of the congregation that do not know me or my family, here is a little information on our involvement with the Church. We started attending the Clairemont Church of Christ in 1984. Ellen was baptized within the first six months. In 1989, after attending our third Yosemite Family Encampment, I finally submitted to our LORD and was baptized. We attended and served at this location until 1994 when we moved to Bishop, California for a job transfer. In the five years that we lived in Bishop, we attended the Bishop Church of Christ. In 1999, I was offered a job in Florida, which of course meant another move for the family. We lived in Marianna, Florida for three years and attended the Marianna Church of Christ. In 2002, we moved back to San Diego and started attending Canyon View Church of Christ again. In 2004, I became a Deacon and currently serve as the church treasurer.
