Marine Corp Recruit Depot

Weekly worship service and Bible class at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego California. Worship service begins at 8:30 a.m. each Sunday morning in Classroom One located at the East end of the main Theater. All interested recruits are provided the opportunity to participate in the services through communion service and leadership, singing and song leading, testimonials and delivering a message.

The worship service is lead by Kenneth Heath and Ham Marashi.  The recruits are also provided the opportunity to attend an in-depth Bible study covering topics such as: Baptism, Salvation, Military Service, Family Issues, and other spiritual items.  This dynamic class is lead by John Jardell.

The Recruits that attend the Canyon View services receive cards/mail from our MCRC card ministry. Graduating Recruits that expressed an interest in attending a church once at their duty station are contacted by the AMEN ministry, sponsored by the White's Ferry Road Church of Christ.

If you know a recruit attending Basic Training in San Diego, write them often and encourage them to attend the "Church of Christ" service.
