Summer Nights in the Courtyard—Our Luau!
We should be excited to devote ourselves to fellowshipping with other Christians. Acts 2:42, They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
What is our aim with Summer night in the courtyard today? It really is simple. It is that, we too, devote ourselves “…to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship…!” Christians should be also able to enjoy our relationship “to…one another…!”! 1 Peter 1:22, Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart!! In fact, I count some 34 different verses on this subject of “…one another…” in the New Testament! Fellowship is so important!
We will have a brief 5:00 pm worship and then go into the courtyard for our fun Hawaiian Luau afterwards. We will have Hawaiian foods. We have not shared this before, but we will also combine this with a small Fourth of July surprise celebration simultaneously! Ya’ll come—bring friends and relatives for this fun event!!
